At Modtek, cabinet making is more than a trade; it’s our passion, our craft, and our way of transforming houses into homes. With a legacy embedded in craftsmanship, we’ve been dedicated to sharing the art of cabinet making throughout the Melbourne community for over a decade.

Our journey began with a singular vision: to empower individuals with the skills to design and create their very own kitchen that resonate with their unique style. Created by Luke Watson, founder of Luke Watson Design and Assembly and Plytek, our installation workshops have been developed to offer individuals the feeling of incredible satisfaction by designing and completing their very own kitchen project.

With 25 years industry experience in the cabinet and furniture making, workplace training and assessing, and process management, Luke and his team have a wealth of experience to assist our workshop participants.
